Today, I will be live blogging from the Omniture Summit in London like I did last year on this blog. It will be the first Omniture event in Europe since its acquisition by Adobe in October 2009.
I will be very interested by the keynote by Paul Weiskopf, Senior Vice President at Adobe, who will present Adobe’s strategy for Omniture’s products. Last year, Mark Read from WPP presented the strategical and financial reasons of the partnership between Omniture and WPP.
Josh James, then CEO of Omniture, highlighted the importance of mobile Web in his keynote last year, Japan being an excellent example of intensive mobile usage. This year, the focus seems to have shifted to Facebook, with the worldwide launch of an application integrating Web Analytics data with Facebook data.
A few changes to the event’s organization this year :- a duration of two days instead of one,
- removal of the « Meet the Gurus » track, which was very interesting last year with independant experts testimonials like Steve Jackson and Matthew Todd.
