Key messages:
- Product announcement #1: integration of Facebook Ad management into SearchCenter, rebranded "SearchCenter +"
- Product announcement #2: integration of SiteCatalyst and Test&Target into Adobe Creative Suite 5
- Product announcement #3: Facebook data integration with SiteCatalyst. Facebook profile data (Facebook age, relationship status, etc.) is directly integrated into a Facebook Connect Dashboard. The Facebook data becomes part of the SiteCatalyst data, and is integrated with other metrics and measurements.
- Product announcement #4: Facebook Buzz Monitoring integration through Genesis. A list of search terms is specified and then the data is pulled automatically from the Facebook API.
My take:
- Facebook data integration into SiteCatalyst and Discover is quite impressive, especially with demographical data (relationship status, age, etc.). However, privacy issues have not been discussed. Looking forward to the breakout session later today.
